The Canadian Poplar and Willow Council (PWCC) is a non-profit organization established in 1977, bringing together members from industry, forest owners, university researchers and provincial and federal governments. PWCC is dedicated to the wise use, conservation and sustainable management of poplars and willows in Canada. PWCC meets annually in Canada (or in the U.S. with our American colleagues) to discuss the latest advances in science and technology.
In 2025, the annual meeting will be held in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region for the third time in its history (2003: Rouyn-Noranda, 2015: Rapide-Danseur).
